Hong Kong Circuit 2007 Summary The
6 legs of the 2007 Hong Kong Circuit, which were convened by WAHK and sponsored
by LCSD have successfully held at last though it had been affected and postponed
due to the incidents of the shark attached and slope maintenance. In
the yearly ranking list, the grand champion goes to Ma Yik Kau who won this
title with big margin of total score of 5 points.
This is the second year he won this title.
The 1st runner-up goes to Choy Cheuk Hang with total marks of
more than 10 points behind. The 2nd
runner-up goes to Chau Ngai In
the youth category of the ranking list, the champion goes to Cheng Chun Leung
whose score was 4 points. Actually
he was the champion in all the 6 circuit events.
He was really the champion of the year.
The 1st runner-up goes to Ng Ho Chun who aheaded the 2nd
runner-up winner, Tang Wing Ho by only one point. The
Hong Kong Circuit of this year continues to be led by the youth and development
squads. The age of this young army
is as young as 9 years old. They can
already participate in races in such a young age.
They are young and energetic. In addition, their parents’ quiet support
behind them had made the whole racing atmosphere become more and more vigorous. The
completion of the Hong Kong Circuit was due to the support of the Race Official
Committee which sent race officers to conduct the race.
With their professional knowledge and experience, racers can all compete
in a well-managed race. I had also
to thank those voluntary helpers and parents.
With their assistance, the races could be successfully held.
