The Hong Kong,China Windsurfing Team obtained another qualification for the Wingfoil racing event at the Bali World Beach Games in August. Ho Chi Ho, the former Olympic windsurfing representative of the Hong Kong team, will join with Rafeek Kikabhoy and Chan Hei Man Hayley to challenge the top international fleet.

Rafeek Kikabhoy and Chan Hei Man Hayley, who crowned in the first ever Wingfoil Racing Asian Championships earlier, had been directly qualified to the Bali World Beach Games. The two Asian Champions and Ho Chi Ho participated the World Cup Series and AWBG Qualifier, which had been held in Lake Garda, Italy last week. Among the 58 participants in the men’s category, Ho Chi Ho and Rafeek Kikabhoy ranked 22nd and 44th respectively; Chan Hei Man ranked 7th among the 19 participants in the women’s category. Since two quota will be allocated to each NOC per event, after deducting the qualified athletes from the ranking, Ho Chi Ho successfully obtained the remaining quota place for the Hong Kong team.
